Victoria’s City Council could name their top pick for the new city manager Tuesday.
The council will gather for a special meeting Tuesday evening and is scheduled to spend most of the meeting in closed session to discuss the position of city manager. The council is also expected to approve a resolution that would authorize Mayor Paul Polasek to execute the employment agreement with the new city manager.
Last week, council members interviewed three finalists for the job: Andrea Gardner, Jesús Garza and John Kessel. All three candidates for the job are current or former Texas city managers.
