Victoria College Athletics is giving VC alumni and the rest of the Crossroads region an opportunity to be a part of its return to the National Junior College Athletics Association by becoming a “Pirate Crew” member.

The “Pirate Crew” is dedicated to supporting Victoria College student athletes on and off the court and preparing them to represent Victoria College in the community and across the state.

“Like all athletic programs, our program depends greatly on the support and dedication of the local community,” said VC Sports Center Coordinator Joshua Moore. “We’re excited to bring a new level of volleyball and basketball to Victoria, and the ‘Pirate Crew’ allows the community to be a part of that excitement.”

There are four “Pirate Crew” membership levels – Lifetime ($1,000), Gold ($250), Silver ($150) and Bronze ($100).

The Bronze and Silver memberships include one season pass to all 2019-20 volleyball and basketball games, one membership exclusive “Pirate Crew” T-shirt and access to view all games, home and away, via livestream. The Bronze membership also includes five game tickets for guests, while the Silver membership includes 10 guest tickets.

The Gold membership includes two season passes to all 2019-20 volleyball and basketball home games, two membership exclusive “Pirate Crew” T-shirts, a “Pirate Crew” fleece blanket, name recognition in the volleyball and basketball programs, livestream viewing access of all games and 10 game tickets for guests.

The Lifetime membership includes two Bronze memberships for lifetime, a permanent block on the “Pirate Nation Donors Wall” and name recognition in the volleyball and basketball programs.

The Pirates will begin their inaugural NJCAA volleyball season on Aug. 22 when they host Wharton County Junior College. The VC men’s basketball home opener is scheduled for Nov. 23 against Bossier Parish Community College.
