Cattle on hand: 636

Had 72 cows and 15 bulls. With such a short supply of cows and bulls, the market was solid as expected this time of year. Cows were back up to almost where they were before last week’s huge supply.

The calf market continued to be very solid with the last few weeks. With such a short supply, not much could be determined other than the calves that were here sold well for what they were.

Packer bulls: All weights, $70-$86.

Packer cows: Canners and cutters, $50-$564 light and weak, $34-$49.
