Compared to last week: The market this week was a little weaker with the average of all calves sold $2 lower than last week. Light weight classes continue strong while the heavier weights sold mostly $2 to $3 lower. Dry weather and large supplies continue to pressure the market.

Packer cows and bulls sold $4 lower on about 300 head total. We will have a sale Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Packer cows: Canner and cutter cows, $39-$54; utility and fat cows, $35-$50; light weight canner cows, $23-$35; poor and weak cows, $18-$25.

Packer bulls: Utility and cutter bulls, $71-$77; light weight canner bulls, $52-$70.

Stocker and feeder calves and yearlings: No. 1 steer and bull calves, (under 200) $145-$185; (200-300) $145-$185; (300-400) $140-$195; (400-500) $135-$180; (500-600) $115-$160; (600-700) $110-$130; (700-800) $98-$122.50.
