Everyday Hero - Bobby Cavazos

Bobby Cavazos

Bobby Cavazos

• Occupation: Owner/operator of Crossroads Electric

• Hometown: Victoria

• Why honored: My Hurricane Harvey Hero is Bobby Cavazos, and this is why: My 91-year-old neighbor and I were the last people on our block to get our electricity turned back on. We were without for two weeks. Bobby Cavazos sent his crew to check on us. The crew of workers was very nice and helpful. They would not accept any money. A few months after the hurricane, I was having an electric problem due to Hurricane Harvey. I remembered Bobby Cavazos and how kind he was to help us out during the hurricane, so I decided to use his company. His crew promptly showed up and fixed the broken wires in no time. Once again, Bobby Cavazos would not accept any money. I'm not sure how many other people he and his crew helped out, but I'm sure it is a substantial number. What a great fellow Victorian. He is a true hero. Thank you again, Bobby Cavazos.
