Boutique Air will begin serving Crossroads travelers Nov. 15 at Victoria Regional Airport, according to a company news release.
The airline was recently awarded the Department of Transportation’s Essential Air Service contract to provide air service between the Victoria airport and Houston Intercontinental Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
Fares will start at an introductory rate of $39 from Victoria to Houston and $69 from Victoria to Dallas/Fort Worth. The schedule features multiple daily round trips and will be listed at boutiqueair.com.
The airlines operates a fleet of both Swiss-made Pilatus PC-12 aircraft and Beechcraft King Air 350 aircraft.
The aircraft features reclining leather seats in an executive configuration, power outlets, a pressurized cabin, an enclosed lavatory and a top speed of 330-plus mph.
Lenny Llerena, manager of the Victoria Regional Airport, said in the news release that the county is excited to work with the new air carrier.
“We are confident that with Boutique Air’s reputation in the industry and the addition of two daily flights to Houston Intercontinental Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport with United Airlines codeshare, we will attract business and leisure travelers alike to fly Boutique Air,” Llerena said.
Boutique’s CEO Shawn Simpson said in the news release, “We are so excited to be initiating air service to Victoria. We know we will have a successful partnership with these communities for years to come.”
