A Victoria man was arrested Wednesday in connection to a shooting late Monday night, according to a Victoria Police Department news release.

Police officers responded about 11:50 p.m. to a shots-fired call in the 1000 block of Trinity Street.

A preliminary investigation revealed multiple bullet holes in a residence, which appears to have been related to a domestic altercation that occurred earlier in the evening, according to the news release.

Residents, including an infant, were inside the home at the time of the shooting but they did not suffer any injuries.

Detectives obtained a warrant for Jonathan Alejandro Rojas, 18, of Victoria, on suspicion of deadly conduct, stalking and abandoning/endangering a child.
