Victoria shooting

Victoria police investigators think the shooter’s vehicle is a white two-door Jeep Wrangler TJ with a tan top and aftermarket wheels and tires. Police are asking anyone with relevant information to call 911 or Victoria Crime Stoppers.

Police are looking for a man who they say shot a woman and pointed a gun at onlookers at a Victoria intersection Friday morning.

The woman shot was transported by the Victoria Fire Department to an area hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to a Victoria Police Department press release. The two onlookers were not injured.

Police responded to the shooting at the intersection of Odem Street and Port Lavaca Drive at about 8:30 a.m.

The shooter is described as a man wearing a white or light-colored shirt.

The shooter’s vehicle is thought to be a white two-door Jeep Wrangler TJ with a tan top and aftermarket wheels and tires.

Police did not say in their release what might have prompted the shooting.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to contact the Victoria Police Department at 361-573-3221 or Victoria Crime Stoppers at 361-572-4200.

AM, use your imagination on the color. I would be surprised if there was an update to this report.

I am still waiting on an update from 2 months or so ago, about this car that ran through a fence on Mockingbird and into a swimming pool.

The driver fled and left his passengers.

Is there any particular reason that, with so many witnesses, you'd only describe the color of the assailant's shirt and his vehicle?

Surely you can pin it down more precisely?

It's almost as if you don't want to say.

Is the dangerous idiot white?
