Jeremy Wayne Nuspliger, age 22, of Baytown, formerly of Lane City, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 24, 2009 in a Garyville, La. hospital following a tragic accident. He was born on Oct. 13, 1986, in Wharton, son of Mechelle Walker Nuspliger and the late Charles Nuspliger.

nbsp;nbsp;Mr. Nuspliger was born and raised in the Wharton area and graduated from Wharton High School in 2005. On May 20, 2007, he married Heather Melnar with a ceremony held in Wharton. Jeremy worked for Performance Contractors as a construction worker helping to build refineries in the Gulf Coast Region. He enjoyed playing with his two-year-old son, Lane, and looked forward to teaching him his love of hunting and fishing. Jeremy always put his family first in his life.

nbsp;nbsp;Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday May 1, 2009, at the chapel of the Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at the Wharton Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton.

nbsp;nbsp;Survivors include his wife, Heather Nuspliger of Baytown; son, Lane Nuspliger of Baytown; mother, Mechelle Nuspliger of Wharton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Brad and Colette Frankum of Baytown, grandmother, Ruby Nuspliger of Wharton; and siblings, Jacob Nuspliger, Steven Nuspliger, Kayla Nuspliger, Jessica Nuspliger, Joy Nuspliger, and Jennifer Nuspliger, all of Wharton, Kristen Koonce and husband Kris of Louise, Heather Tabor and husband William of Boling, and Latisha Wood of Boling. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

nbsp;nbsp;Pallbearers will be Danny Daniels, Alan Dincans, Joe Terry, Blake Dluhy, Ruben Calderon, and Bryan Bowen.

nbsp;nbsp;Honorary pallbearers will be Hank Moses, Mike Palmer, Robert Bodine, Keithon Herring, Adolph Shoppa, Robert Burkhardt, and all of his coworkers at Performance Contractors.

nbsp;nbsp;If desiring, memorials may be made to the Lane Nuspliger Education Fund, % Capital One Bank, 323 Boling Highway, Wharton, Texas 77488.
