RAYMOND ROYCE FARRIS VICTORIA - Raymond Royce Farris, 85, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 23, 2019 after fighting a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. Ray was born in Huntington, West Virginia September 29, 1933 and was stationed at Foster Field in the Air Force when he met his loving wife of 64 years Margie Trahan. He is also survived by his children, Wynn (Dena), Beverly and Paul Farris, and Connie Delgado; Grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Pop", Marc, Matt, Jennifer, Alison, Brooke, Ericka, Aaron, Jessica and Gage; Great-grandchildren, Teryn, Michael, Emma, Case, Ford, and Peyton. Pop was the owner of Texas Auto Parts for over 50+ years. If he wasn't racing cars, Ray was racing horses, sharing plenty of fun and excitement with his family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28th at Rosewood Funeral Chapels from 2:00-3:30 pm, with a rosary at 3:00 pm. Graveside service at Resurrection Mausoleum with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council immediately following. Reception at St. Mary's Hall beginning at 4:45 pm. Pallbearers are Marc and Matt Farris, Aaron and Rick Delgado, Logan and Coby Schunka. We would like to thank Dr. Armando Diaz, Harbor Hospice and especially Roxanna McAdams for all their loving care.
