REV.JOHN FRED WATTS JR. VICTORIA - Rev. John Fred Watts Jr., 84, of Victoria, Texas passed away Saturday July 13,2019. He was born October 23,1934 in Victoria, Texas to the late John Fred Watts Sr. and Thelma Jean Mullens Wells. He received his basic education in Victoria and later join the United States Army. He worked for Alcoa for many years where he retired and also served as pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Bloomington Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sister: Mavis Hill, Brothers: Waymon Pattis, Billy Watts, Melford Wells, Wilford Wells and Gayford Wells. He is survived by his wife Bernice Hall Watts, Daughters: Della Hall-Love of Houston,Texas, Ava Hall-Close of Irving Texas, Barbara Hall of Denton Texas, Son: Henry Hall of Minnesota, Sister: Hazel Hays of Bloomington Texas. Eleven Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren. Funeral Service 10:00 am. Friday July 19,2019 at Morning Star Baptist Church in Bloomington Texas. Officiating Minister Pastor Frank Harvey and Eulogistic Remarks Henry Hall. Interment Bloomington Community Cemetery with Full Military Honors under the auspices of Victoria County Veterans Council, AL, CWV, VFW, DAV, MCL, MOWW, EX-POW, MOPH, VVA and KWV. Active Pallbearers : Henry Hall, Lesley Charleston, Grayson Grisby, Michael Wells, Jonathan Love and Kamerson Close. Honorary Pallbearers : Keith Close, Manuel Baladez Stanley King and Men of Morning Star Baptist Church.
