RONALD EARL RAVEN VICTORIA - Ronald Earl Raven (Ronnie), 75, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018. He was born on August 18, 1942, in Victoria, TX, to Charles and Effie McDonald Raven. He is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years Alice Selby Raven. Ronnie served his country in the Texas National Guard and Army Reserves from 1961-1968. After that, he was employed by FMC Wellhead division for over 30 years, traveling all over the world, doing his job. His retirement brought time for his hobbies. He was a "fixer", repairing anything he could and selling or gifting it. He loved to fish and tinker with his tractors and Jeeps, a "Jack of all Trades" who would tackle anything! Survivors include his sons; William Lynnwood Raven and Ronald Dean Raven (Cheryl), daughter; Jennifer Lee Raven (Charles), grandchildren; Alex Glas (Cheyenne), Christy and Allison; great grandchildren Mason and Kynnlei; Sister Shirley Sklar (Alan), brother; James Raven (Linda); nephews and niece; Douglas Schaefer, Jason Raven, Matthew Raven and Meagan Raven Hotz. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00am at Grace Funeral Home, Victoria. Burial will be at a later date. Condolences and memories can be shared at Services are under the direction and personal care of Grace Funeral Home.

Wow so upset to see that Ronnie has left us.Ronnie would always visit me at Lowes and have that weekly Nascar discussion.Ronnie you truly will be missed and will never be forgotten by me.Till i see you again my friend.
