Calhoun High School students at the State Capitol.

Feb. 20, 45 Calhoun High School students, four teachers, Principal Nicole Amason, Superintendent Larry Nichols and Russell Cain toured the Texas State Capitol and Bob Bullock museum. This trip was sponsored by the Calhoun County Republican Party as a cultural and historical education trip. The group visited with Gov. Greg Abbott, State Sen. Lois Kolkhorst and State Rep. Geanie Morrison. The group was introduced on the floor of the legislature and received a standing ovation from the State Representatives.
