Online comments on ‘Victoria city manager: City should work to be a destination city’ from June 13

Mr. Garza wants Victoria to become a destination city, and Robert Glenn wants UHV to become a destination university. In order for that to happen, the two need to work together and fully communicate with each other and Victoria’s citizens so that they’re pulling together instead of inefficiently going off in their own directions. Efficiency in Victoria government would be a wondrous change, and welcome. Maybe with our new City Manager and Mayor, we can take large steps in that direction.

Glenn Wilson

The two (university expansion and downtown life) should align with each other ... as long as the citizens of our community grasp the full vision of where we want to go in the near future ... very near future.
