I hope this is not a reflection of the oft-voice concern that Americans no longer go to the source to form their own opinions. That we prefer pre-digested facts delivered as opinions by TV personalities whose views we all ready know. Are we really too lazy to receive first-hand information? These are historic times for this country and both Parties. If you don’t watch any part of the proceedings, you miss the nuances, the body posture, the looks exchanged and the inflections a voice makes when being truthful or lying. Yes, it’s painful and often boringly repetitive, but it’s our elected officials at work, from both sides if the aisle, and your opinions are of little value if you haven’t personally watched the proceedings and only repeat other people’s opinions. .
