Thumbs-up to Moulton resident Doris Lala. We went to Moulton to eat at Kloesel’s Steakhouse for our 46th anniversary. When I was getting ready to pay my bill, we found out our meal was paid by her. Thank you so much. It was a nice surprise.
Thumbs-up and thank you to Ron Sitka for telling us about the Ranch Golf Course in Kennedy. There is a lot of history there. I have played golf for 60 years and have always enjoyed playing other courses. Looking forward to playing there.

Thumbs-up to the Hope Child Advocacy Center for helping restore the lives of abused children. It is so needed. They are carrying the weight of what has happened to them, but when they are able to talk about it and have someone to share it with really helps them.
Thumbs-up to Hobby Lobby for their full-page patriotic tribute on Independence Day and their continued Christian witness as well. God bless them!
Thumbs-down to the city of Victoria Parks Department. The duck pond has been blocked off and drained for months, and there hasn’t been any work done to it yet. It looks terrible. When is something going to be done to improve it and complete it?
Thumbs-down to mishandled funds for Hurricane Harvey work at the airport. Disappointed in the powers that be. 400,000 thumbs down, so far.
