Letters to the editor

Editor, the Advocate:

From my personal experience, the column by Jerry Lembcke is completely wrong. We returned on Boeing 707 at 2 a.m. in Seattle in 1971 and were cursed at and spit at by a group of women.

Even when I returned to Victoria, I was treated with bias, like we were scum. Lembcke’s column is Bravo Sierra.

Joe, I don't know why the Advocate didn't wait for Vietnam Veterans day to run the column. 3 days before D Days seemed like a bad enough insinuation to me. I still feel to be treated with bias by some to this day 53 years later
