82 COVID-19 cases confirmed

Victoria County officials said 82 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Saturday, July 11.

Crossroads counties reported two new coronavirus-related deaths Saturday as cases continued to climb throughout the state.

A Victoria County resident with COVID-19 died after being hospitalized in Victoria, health officials said. The woman was in her 80s. No additional details about the woman or her case were released. Another Crossroads resident, this one a man in Matagorda County, also died on Saturday, according to local officials there.
