State officials said Monday they expect lengthy power outages to last into Tuesday due to insufficient electrical grid supply as a result of the extreme weather.

As of Monday afternoon, about 2 million households were without power statewide.

About 30 homes on Castleway and Plantation streets in Castle Hills have been without electricity for almost 30 hours as of Tuesday morning and no help in sight.
