YORKTOWN – Anita Guerrero, 37, of Yoakum, got tested for COVID-19 in Yoakum on July 1. She came back positive. Eight days later, she drove to Cuero for another test at last week’s walk-up site. Though she’d gone the week in between without symptoms, the test again came back positive.
So Guerrero drove to Yorktown on Wednesday for her third test in as many weeks to find out if she is finally free of the virus. This time, she brought her daughters, ages 15 and 12, along with her. Though neither one has experienced symptoms, Guerrero sought reassurance that they aren’t carrying the coronavirus.
