Charlie Jackson, left, and Ricardo De La Fuente, right

California resident Ricardo De La Fuente received 60% of all votes cast in the Democratic primary for U.S. District 27 in Texas.

In fact, more voters in Texas backed De La Fuente in Tuesday’s primary election than in his home state of California, where he was also running for a U.S. House Seat. De La Fuente received 3,492 votes in the Democratic primary for U.S. District 21 in California.
