A former Victoria County sheriff’s deputy accused in March of trying to record a minor as she was undressing in a bathroom pleaded guilty to the crime last week.

Tony Ray Salinas Jr., 37, of Victoria, was given five years deferred adjudication probation and 30 days in jail after pleading guilty on Oct. 5 to invasive visual recording, according to court records. As part of the plea deal, he is required to have no contact with the victim, surrender his peace officer and jailer licenses, pay a $2,360 fine and serve 80 hours of community service.

I have read one of the places that photos like this are shared are on instant messaging services. The company's providing the services know about these photos but do not report. Some how it keeps the photos off the main drive.
