Tropical Storm Beta tracking map 7pm Saturday

The sun was shining Saturday, but local officials warned that heavy rains and flash flooding are just around the corner as Tropical Storm Beta approaches land.

The most severe weather is expected Sunday evening through Monday. Five to eight inches of rain are anticipated in the Crossroads, with 10 to 15 inches in isolated areas, according to the National Weather Service.
