Gage Del Bosque remembers getting Jacque, a white Siberian husky, as a birthday present to himself when he turned 23.

He said the dog was at his side for many milestones in his life, including meeting his soon-to-be wife, getting married and experiencing the birth of his daughter.

Jacque, a white Siberian husky, plays with Gage and Alyssa Del Bosque's infant daughter in July 2020.

Gage Del Bosque speaks about his dog, which was euthanized Tuesday, during an almost 3-hour town hall hosted by the city to discuss new proposed animal code.

Eight digital billboards in Victoria are showing an image of Jacque, a dog that was euthanized on Tuesday. The image is accompanied with the wording "#JusticeForJacque," which has also trended on local Facebook pages.

Lack of information. Was the dog on the owners yard? Did the dog go out of the owners yard without the owners control? (a violation of many in Victoria and county.) How did the dog get hurt?

That was a serious bite for sure, the dog should have been studied before it was put down to see if these bites and insecurity around non family members is common then MUST be corrected.
