Breaking news

One person was killed Sunday night when a motorcyclist hit a deer on SH 185 in Calhoun County, said Sgt. Ruben San Miguel of the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The accident remains under investigation, San Miguel said. The motorcyclist’s next of kin had not been notified as of 8:30 p.m.

Any updates on this motorcyclist story? Where on 185? Was it a male or female cyclist? Anything?

John as far I see in the report the next of kin had not notified as of 8:30 pm.

Now I do know that the Sun sets at 7:15 pm, So I guess this is the time reference,

Yes, this report was posted at about 9:30 last night, which was only about an hour after the reported time of the accident. My inquiry was if there has been any updates. Any further information at all might be helpful, being it has now been 16 hours.

I am not faulting anyone, just that a lot of folks in the cycle world are pretty close, so it puts that same lot of folks on edge. At present, the story is quite vague, and I am sure the author is working on it.
