Gloria Spahn stood in front of the Victoria City Council on a Tuesday evening in May and berated them for the lack of improvements made to the streets in the Tanglewood neighborhood where she lives.

“I’ll tell you patching patches is not working,” Spahn said. “We’re not going to put up with it. I am angry. I am 81 years old and I am going to fight city hall.”

I'm so, so tired of people voting for lower taxes, "fiscally conservative" leadership, voting against investing in local projects, only ever focusing on how to pinch pennies, and then complaining when the city has gone down the drain. This is the direct product of those actions...

Good for you Gloria
