The Victoria City Council meets at the municipal court building, 107 W. Juan Linn St.

Victoria City Council gave their support for a new workforce housing development to be built in the southside of the city during Tuesday’s meeting.

The support was a necessary step for the developer to apply for a 4% housing tax credit from the state.

We need affordable housing in Victoria and glad to see progress. I'm concerned with this project being close to a school, and traffic for adding an additional 600 cars to the area. Not many questions by council members asked at all which is very surprising.
