Health care, medical technology, nonprofits
Originally from Cotulla, I've lived most of my life in San Antonio. I've worked at award-winning newspapers and publications including The Ranger, Longview News-Journal, Corpus Christi Caller-Times and The Roanoke Times in Virginia. I graduated from San Antonio College and Texas State University-San Marcos with journalism degrees. I've lived in Victoria for three years now working at the Advocate and my feature stories have since received state and national recognition. I've also been accepted into fellowship programs for the National Press Foundation, Society of American Business Editors and Writers, the Association of Health Care Journalists and The Poynter Institute with the Association of Opinion Journalists. Let me know if you have an idea for a health-related story or a feature on local nonprofits. Call 361-580-6585 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
