Features Editor/General Assignment Reporter
I graduated from The University of Texas-Pan American in May 2009 with my BA in Print Journalism and minor in English. I enjoy spontaneity and wittiness. I started working at the Victoria Advocate May 2009, and I really love the feel of the paper, the staff and the community. I'm a Ranging Reporter and cover Refugio County and the diversity beat. On my spare time I enjoy putting my spontaneity to work and just living life for the moment. I live for adrenaline rush, so never expect me to back down from anything daring. Among the more mundane things, I like playing piano, watching T.V., going to the beach, listening to trance/progressive music and playing lots of video and PC games. I have an affinity for animals (with the exception of reptiles, they make my skin crawl). I'm a humanitarian, so I'm very content making others happy even if it's at the expense of some of my happiness. It's my Piscean nature. If you have any diversity story ideas or any news ideas from Refugio County, you can reach me at 361-580-6504 or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
