Medical Marijuana

Brittany Cabrera, 25, plays with daughter, Penny, 3, inside their Goliad home. The family made plans to permanently relocate to Colorado in the summer of 2019 to seek medical marijuana treatments for Penny’s seizures, which are a result of CDKL5, a rare genetic disorder. In the early days of Penny’s diagnosis, the Cabreras entertained the idea of moving to Colorado to seek medical marijuana and more comprehensive treatment options for Penny as a last result.
